Tailored specifically to fit the feminine physique, this cuirass enhances comfort without compromising on the protection offered. It is connected by vegetable-tanned leather to two lower back plates, known historically as "lames," which can be strapped together to form a cohesive unit, ensuring full coverage. Dual leather straps on the back allow for a customised, secure fit, essential for maintaining the armour's position during movement.
