Warlord Sword

Warlord Sword

“She scrambled over the corpses of his fallen comrades, desperately fighting off the sword blows of the man behind her. Her breath was coming in ragged heaves, and her lungs burned like she’d held her breath for hours, only now to breathe. Another word blow rained down, and she dodged left, tripping over her feet. Her hands desperately grabbed for purchase and found a hilt that fit as perfectly as it had been designed for her. Suddenly finding her strength, she struck with the blade, and it arched through the air like a striking viper, and the man fell in a pile. The warlord was no more. Long live the new warlord.”

The Warlord Sword from Epic Armoury is part of our hybrid range. The blade is designed with a double fuller and comprises a fibreglass core embedded in closed-cell foam coated with pigmented latex. The handle is made of polyurethane foam, and features imitated gold and silver ornamentations loosely inspired by Nordic art from the Scandinavian Viking Age. Thus, the sword fits well in settings inspired by this historical period and style. The Viking Sword is a great alternative, available in a battle-worn version, but if you seek an authentic design based on a real archaeological find, we recommend the EirikR Sword instead.
